On August 1, the former adviser to the President of FESCO (the FESCO Group) Yury Gilts was appointed CEO of the Rail Garant Group. He replaced one of the Group's shareholders - Sergey Guschin.

"We know Yury Gilts for a long time from working together at FESCO. In addition, he is well-known and highly skilled. In our opinion, only a person with his qualities will be able to improve efficiency and strengthen the leading position of Rail Garant amid the consolidation of the operator business", said the shareholders of the Group in respect to their choice.

Yury Gilts was born in 1968. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance. From 2003 to 2013 he held senior positions at the FESCO Group. In June 2013 he was appointed advisor to the President of FESCO (FESCO Group) on strategic development.
