Rail Garant Group is developing business in Central Asia
05/04/12The operational fleet of Rail Garant Kazakhstan (RGK) – a subsidiary company of Rail Garant – increased to 160 low-sided cars by the end of March, 2012. The company’s entire car fleet is being used in cargo transportation projects for large industrial companies in Kazakhstan. In particular, RGK is implementing a project for transportation of technical sulfur on export for Tengizchevroil. RGK is also planning to start cargo transportation in low-sided cars for exports from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The company’s development strategy calls for expanding its car fleet structure in terms of wagon types. “We plan to begin operating with tanks in the near future for transporting oil cargoes both within Kazakhstan and on export routes. We also plan to conduct railway transportation using covered cars, pipe carriers, and fitting platforms,” explained Alexander Skripka, General Director of RGK. |
